§ 04 — LAVENDER
Six Catalogued Cultivars · In Flower Late May — Late Aug · Walk Amongst The Beds
Each variety is entered here as a specimen on its own field-stake record card — lesser-known lavenders alongside beloved classics, the way they grow in the labelled beds. Hover or focus a card to tilt the stake up, read its field-note, and draw the leader rule that links it to the bed.

PLATE · IN FLOWERLB·LAV·NOTE — Flowering Window
Peaks in flower from late May to late August.
The beds are arranged as a living collection — each cultivar staked and named so the differences in colour, height and scent read like a register laid out across the ground. Guests are welcome to walk amongst them while they are in flower.
LB·LAV·CONS — National Collection
The register exists to keep rare varieties in cultivation. Aligned with the National Collection concept and recognised by Plant Heritage, the lesser-known cultivars are catalogued here alongside the classics so none of them quietly disappears.
